- DFA Marin Meet Ups began during the 2004 Presidential Election and provided a place where Marin residents could get involved in supporting the Democratic Ticket.
- After the 2004 Presidental Election, DFA Marin redoubled its efforts to help elect a Democratic President in 2008 and to supporting progressive Democrats in Congress and
- in local and California State Offices.
- In additional to focusing on major electoral races, DFA Marin presented programs that brought information to the community about local, state, and national topics such as
- health care reform, environmental health and safety, transportation, and foreign policy.
